name of this cocktail is derived from the Brazilian word Caipira, which was commonly used to refer to rural inhabitants. So, the first cocktails were probably not enjoyed on a white swinging Brazilian beach as we imagine, but rather in the countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cacha\u00e7a, or better said Cacha\u00e7a<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cacha\u00e7a is the rum of Brazil. It is made from a distillate of sugarcane and is similar to white rum but with a slightly sharper taste and stronger alcohol content. And you can definitely taste this in the Caipirinha as well. Cacha\u00e7a is used in Caipirinhas and Batidas or simply enjoyed neat. You can ask for Cacha\u00e7a 51 or Sagatiba at Dutch liquor stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Easy to vary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like with the classic Caipirinha, you can experiment with various fruit flavors such as strawberries, kiwi (gold kiwi), passion fruit, or for example the Passion Caipirinha with passion fruit.
