When you see the name of this cocktail you expect a blue cocktail. The more blue curacao we put it in, the bluer it gets. But definitely not better. The Blue Hawaiian is a tropical cocktail based on the Pina Colada recipe. We've added blue curacao for the tropical taste and experience.

What do you need for a Blue Hawaiian?

Blue curacao (1 part)
Rum of kokos rum (1 part)
Coconut milk (1,5 part)
Fresh pineapple juice (1 slice & garnish)
Crushed ice

1 part = 30 ml

How do you make a Blue Hawaiian?

When working with fresh pineapple you should use a blender. First cut 1 nice slice of the pineapple in small pieces. Put these in the blender. Now add the rum, blue curacao and coconut milk to the blender. Before we put on the blender add crushed ice into the blender. Don’t put to much ice at once into the blender, we are going to taste after the first time, then we can always put more ice in the blender if needed. Now blend it well. Taste after the first blend. If you like the taste get your hurricane glass and fill it up with ice cubes. Pour out the cocktail into the glass and use a piece of fresh pineapple to garnish the cocktail. Serve with a big smile!
