Mojito Razz

Another variation on the classic Mojito is the Mojito Razz. The name already gives it away. This version is made with raspberries. The rum with raspberry flavor of bacardi is a perfect liquor to make this cocktail with. We off course still use fresh raspberries as well.

What do you need for a Mojito Razz?

Bacardi Razz (1,5 part)
Sparkling water (2 part)
Cane sugar or sugar syrup (2 bar spoons)
Mint (ca 5 blaadjes)
Half a lime (4 small parts)
Raspberries (2 or 3 pieces)

1 part = 30 ml

How do you make a Mojito Razz?

For this cocktail we are going to use a traditional mojito glass. We prepare the cocktail straight into the glass. The base of every mojito is lime. Not so different for this version. Cut the lime in small pieces. Add these to your glass with the cane sugar or sugar syrup. Muddle it for about three to four strokes. If you muddle the lime too much the bitterness will take over. Now add the bacardi razz rum, mint leaves and raspberries to the glass. Give it a small stir and fill up the glass with crushed ice. Top it of with sparkling water and again give it a small stir. Garnish your Mojito Razz with a few mint leaves and you are ready to serve your cocktail.
