Long Island Ice Tea

We like to call the Long Island Ice Tea the grand dessert of all cocktails. Not for any reason. This cocktail contains no less then 5 (!) spirits. These five are: white rum, vodka, tequila, gin and triple sec. So you see why we call this one the grand dessert. That makes the color of the coca cola change into an ice tea color. No wonder people often confuse the coca cola for ice tea...

How do you make a Long Island Ice Tea?

Get your biggest longrdrink glass out of the closet. Fill it up with ice cubes. Add the rum, vodka, gin, tequila and triple sec to the glass. No more then half a part of every spirit in this cocktail. Now add the fresh lemonjuice to the cocktail and give it a smal stir. Top it of with the coca cola. Garnish the glass with a lemon slice and nice and sweet cocktail cherry. Be carefull consuming this cocktail. It can be a heavy combination. You can also change the ingredients to less then half a part if it’s to strong.
